In 2017 we brought together youth arts practitioners from around the borough for an interactive consultation to learn more about the strengths and challenges of working in the sector. Interesting themes emerged that had some resonance with what young people have been telling us. Click here to read the report.
This study gave us a sense of what more we can do to support those on the ground delivering the arts to our young people. Findings were shared at Croydon’s Culture Congress in January 2018 and ideas around how to tackle issues were discussed. Get in touch with us to join the conversation.
This Youth Arts Network meets across the year to share, learn and network.
We have a wider Cultural Education Partnership meeting taking place on 5th July, 4 - 6pm at The Front Room.
This meeting is open to anyone who is committed to improving the youth arts offer in Croydon and wants to contribute towards how we best do this. Please join us if that's you! It will bring together youth arts practitioners, schools and young people to talk through their priorities for cultural education, share local and national updates and provide an opportunity for networking.
