Young Croydon Composers: Celebrating LBoC
Talented young musicians from diverse backgrounds will perform their own music alongside choirs and orchestras from Croydon Music & Arts, Indian singers from Croydon Academy of Eastern Arts and rappers from Finesse Foreva. Young musicians will also perform specially composed music by award winning composers.
CSMA - Junior Festival
The CSMA concert will include the Junior Festival Choir of over 500 voices, with their conductor Claire Slade. The children will sing a variety of exciting and vibrant styles, with the genre of Power in Me, to encourage self-belief, perseverance, and empowerment. Disney will be featured to celebrate 100 years of storytelling and song.

Family of Noise: Inclusive Harmonies
Experience the inclusive harmony at "Family of Noise: Inclusive Harmonies," organized by Croydon Music & Arts with Club Soda. This event showcases our commitment to amplifying the voices of children and young people in Croydon through artistic expression. Join us as neurodiverse youth perform alongside students from mainstream schools, creating beautiful music together!
Music NEXTGEN: Croydon
A free must-attend one-day music biz extravaganza building the NXTGEN of Croydon's music industry stars. It features panels, seminars, showcases, and networking events for emerging music talent and entrepreneurs.
CMA Primary Schools Conference - CPD Day 16th January
We will be hosting a CPD day on 16th January filled with useful information including how to meet OFSTED standards, creating a Music Development Plan, diversifying your curriculum, wellbeing techniques and more. With guest speaker Ollie Tunmer.

Rap Therapy | Free 4 week course
Rap Therapy are offering a free 4 week course in Croydon libraries.
Rap Therapy’s focus is to complement the UK education sector by improving the mental health and creativity of students using rap.

CR Talent
On 13th July, young performers will be taking over Wandle Park for CR Talent, a FREE festival celebrating Croydon’s culture, diversity and talent. There will be electrifying performances of live music and dancing; plenty of delicious food and drink.
From Disney songs medleys to rap with a live orchestral, CR Talent will have something for everyone to enjoy!

There are NO MORNING REHEARSALS for these groups.
Performers in all groups should arrive at 12.55 pm wearing concert dress.
Concert Dress: Black skirt or trousers, white shirt or blouse, black shoes, CYM badge if you have one (these will be available at a cost of £2, cash only, on November 19 and 26).
Children may wish to bring a snack and a drink (not fizzy), and a book for times when they are not rehearsing.
Tickets: Tickets will be available on the door, CASH only, price £4 / £2 concessions, children free. If you are coming to more than one concert this term please bring your concert programme for half price admission to the second concert (this offer is only available for concerts this December, 2022)
Endangered Species Taster Session
Come along with your child to meet the endangered instruments. There will be a short demonstration on the Bassoon, Double Bass, French Horn, Flute, and Oboe, followed by an opportunity to have a go!
We will advise your child on the suitability of the instruments. We have both full size and mini instruments available.

We will be staying in the National Forest Youth Hostel, performing three concerts, and visiting attractions in the areas including Stratford-upon-Avon (Shakespeare’s home town) and Cadbury World. We have reserved a limited number of beds at the Youth Hostel but there are currently a couple of spaces.
