Two new ways to grow your musical skills. From making beats and producing music with technology, to building confidence in music theory, these classes support creativity, curiosity and progression.
Music Production 101 is an exciting introduction to creating and producing music. Designed for students in Years 5-9, this weekly session explores digital music tools, beat-making and composition in a fun and creative way.
Taking place at Ashburton Library, the course encourages collaboration and confidence whilst inspiring the next wave of music creators
No prior experience is needed just curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
Sessions run every Thursday at 4:30pm–5:30pm, starting 15th January 2026!
£6.50 per session, with 50% discounts available for students eligible for Free School Meals.

Step Into Music Theory offers a clear and engaging introduction to music theory for young musicians learning at Grades 1-4 level. Through practical activities and clear explanations, students will develop essential skills in reading music, understanding rhythm and notation, and applying theory to their instrument.
Designed for those with no prior theory experience, this class supports progression towards GCSE Music and Grade 5 Theory, helping students feel confident and prepared for future study.
Sessions take place every Saturday from 9:00am-10:00am at Oasis Academy Shirley Park, starting 10th January 2026!
