Applications are now open for the
Multi-Story Orchestra Young Creatives programme 2026/27.
Young Creatives are a group of paid artists aged 16–18 who come together to make music, share ideas and create original work alongside professional artists and musicians (and you get paid to do it!)
You could be a singer, rapper, songwriter, musician, writer, performer, or simply someone who loves being creative.
You don’t need any previous musical/performance experience to apply.
As a Young Creative, you’ll spend the year developing your ideas and creative skills, meeting other young people and making work that will eventually be performed with the Multi-Story Orchestra.
What you’ll work on:
· Create two original pieces of work alongside our professional Creative Leads and musicians
· Write and perform new music with Multi-Story Orchestra
· See your work taught to school choirs and other young people who will perform alongside you
· Perform at venues including Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, Fairfield Halls and Bold Tendencies
· Experience live music, exhibitions, masterclasses and creative workshops
· Get involved behind the scenes, from marketing to creative shoots
· Meet other Young Creatives, make friends and become part of the Multi-Story community
Most importantly, meet other young creatives, make friends, create, perform and have fun along the way!
All Young Creatives are paid £14.80 per hour for their time.
To apply you must be:
· Aged 16–18. You can apply at 15 if you will turn 16 before 1 November 2026.
· Live in Southwark, Lambeth or Croydon
· Have previously taken part in a Multi-Story Orchestra project, or be taking part in our September DREAMER performances.*

*If you haven’t taken part in a Multi-Story project before and your school isn’t involved in the September performances, you can still apply. We’ll consider your application and may invite a limited number of applicants to take part in the September project.
